Chilly autumn winds didn’t fluster this couple as they got married on the shores of Lake Simcoe, Ontario. Heather is a painter, and James is a jazz musician, and they pooled their creative resources for a dreamy DIY wedding a few weeks ago.
Heather and James planned to the last detail to ensure that their guests were well cared for. Family and friends sipped hot apple cider as Heather and James exchanged vows under a picnic shelter in Jacksons Point. The ceremony was followed by a cozy buffet under lanterns and, naturally, some fantastic music. (Groomsbabe Katie DuTemple performed an original song for the couple, and the cocktail band was nothing short of superb!) Guests ate, and drank, and danced, and danced, and danced….
Congratulations, Heather and James. I’m happy it all came together so wonderfully!
